The President of the United States of America

Just a few minutes before our playgroup was scheduled to arrive for a playdate, Colin came downstairs in his underwear. I said "Where are your clothes!". Colin responded, "I want to be the President of the United States." Perplexed, I said, "You can be whatever you want to be, but you need to wear clothes!" Colin asked me to follow him upstairs, where, in his closet, he pointed to a dressy outfit from Granny. He asked me to help him get dressed in it and then exclaimed, "I'm the President of the United States!"

He kept the outfit on all day and was quite the hit with his buddies at playgroup.

P.S. When I asked which President, he said "George Washington, the commander in chief!"
