Colin gave up his nap a few months ago, but he still has to have quiet time in his room. The other day it seemed a little too quiet to me, so I peaked in and was alarmed when I couldn't find him...then I looked into one of his toy storage boxes and there he was, sound asleep, in the midst of his Elmo puzzle pieces! Must have been quiet the puzzle he was working on!

The ceiling fan in the master bedroom is a source of endless fascination for Alaina. I know entertainment won't stay that cheap for long.

I think Alaina is starting to learn a little cause and effect, because she loves to pull down on the froggy to make the music turn on...her little legs kick in delight every time.

Snowy Fun!

No complaints here about the mild winter, but certainly Colin was excited that the snow finally arrived. We made a small snowman and took a ride on the sled!

First Night

To ring in the New Year, we went to First Night Worcester. There were lots of great performances and activities for kids and families, but Colin's favorite was seeing the Youth Symphony perform at Mechanic's Hall. He was amazed by the beautiful hall and the performance and kept asking "my turn to play?"...his love of music continues!

New House

We sold our house last month and didn't find a new one to buy yet, so we've moved to a rental while we house hunt. Among the nice features of our rental is that it is a very short walk to a park and playground, so we've been having fun on frequent trips to the playground (enjoying it until it is covered with snow!)
