Pirate!

Colin was a pirate for Halloween and has been one nearly everyday since then.  All things pirate, all the time, in fact.  His new bedroom is taking on a pirate theme, his new favorite tv show is "Jake and the Neverland Pirates", he has asked Santa to bring him pirate legos, and when we go to the library, we look for pirate books (he is reading Puzzle Pirates here).  He has even been known to tell us to "Walk the plank!".

Pumpkin hayride

There are many things we love about our new neighborhood, but one of our favorites is the farm/ice cream stand that is just a half mile or so up the road.  It has a hayride to the pumpkin fields and Colin and Alaina loved the ride and picking out a pumpkin.
