Happy 3rd Birthday Colin!

Your joy, energy, exuberance, and smile light up our lives! How quickly 3 years have passed and how wonderful the time has been. You are growing up to be such a wonderful boy, with a zest for life, enormous curiosity, and an outgoing personality. You love to learn and read books and can't wait to go to school. Nothing makes you happier than to be outside. Music, cars, and blocks are your favorite things to play with and you have developed into quite the little pretender, as well. Your 3rd year was one of great joy and great change, with a new baby sister and a big move. Your 4th year will bring more change but we are sure you will continue to impress us with how well you roll with the punches.
You keep us (very) busy, but full of joy and love!

These two love each other so much. I can't wait to see how they grow closer and have more fun over the coming months and years.

Baptismal gown pictures

We held a very small celebration for Lainey's baptism a few weeks ago, which was made even smaller due to the fact that we had to cancel the party because Colin had a bug. Lainey proceeded to cry the entire ceremony, so it was basically a big disaster. We didn't get any good pics that day because she was crying the whole time, so we dressed her up again to get some pics of her in her pretty dress.

Train ride home

After the Children's Museum, we hopped on the T to get back to North Station to catch the train home. Unfortunately, we missed our train by about 60 seconds, so we had to wait 2 hours for the next train :( Here are the kiddos patiently waiting in their strollers. They were more patient than I was!

After the train ride, we walked over to the Children's Museum. It was beyond crowded, but Colin still had lots of fun.

Colin's first train ride

We took Colin into Boston on a big adventure a few weeks ago. Colin has been very interested in trains (in fact it will be theme of his 3rd birthday party) so he was beside himself that he got to go on a ride on the train. He was so very excited on the ride and especially thrilled to meet the conductor and get his ticket punched!

5 Months Old!

Lainey is 5 months old today! She is awake a lot more, but sleeps a good 8-12 hour stretch most nights (far better than her brother who is waking up nearly every night!). She rolls from her belly to her back, is tripoding and loves playing in her exersaucer and in her jumperoo. Colin is her favorite and he makes her giggle when he sings and dances. She is wearing 9 month clothing (and I suspect 12 month clothing very soon). She is an absolute delight!
