A girl who loves her food!
Lainey has no interest in baby food (purees) these days and just wants to feed herself. Anything you offer her, she loves. She usually has a little smorgasbord of whatever we are eating. Here she is enjoying pineapple, peas, and cheerios. She also loves red bell peppers, black beans, rice, avocado, chicken, ham, pasta, and even french fries!

Backfill progress
The garage has been filled in almost to ground level.
The foundation was waterproofed. This is the only area that is still exposed, as this is where the basement stairs outside will be poured and the bulkhead placed.

So it looks like things are moving along and that framing should be able to begin next week!

Foundation!

Look Park
We capped off a very busy but fun filled Memorial Day weekend with a trip to Look Park in Northampton. It was great...the park had lots of green fields for Colin to run in, playgrounds, spray parks, a small zoo and a train ride.
Peacocks!
Colin and I took the train ride together.
Colin met Tom Turkey at the zoo.
Foundation poured
More excavation may have occurred on what I think will be our driveway.

And this is the entrance to the garage. Our garage is a side load and we chose to upgrade a two door garage (we thought it would be easier to pull in to and park two cars that way).
Next week, the work will begin on backfilling the foundation. The builder said that work should take about a week and they plan to begin framing the house the following week. As always, this is all weather dependent, but we should have a framed and roofed (and perhaps even sided) house by the end of the month if things go fairly according to plan!
This is looking at the garage and back of the house.
